The independent living building is older so I noticed some areas that are worn, and hallways were narrower than newer facilities so I worried about walkers and wheelchairs as mom declines. The common areas were smaller than other places and didn't feel as inviting. They do have a swimming pool which is great for water aerobics. Overall - it is good but not perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good and healthy. there are lots of activities and the people are friendly. Age groups are 70s, 80s and 90s. It is clean. Apartments are several different sizes. We have had several new residents since the new year. It is easy for new residents to join in the group.
