Senior Suites of Midway Village is a welcoming, secure independent living community in Chicago for seniors ages 62 and over. We provide the opportunity for seniors to forego home maintenance chores in favor of private apartments with housekeeping, all in a convenient location. We are close to many of Chicago’s cultural offerings as well as shopping, restaurants, theaters, and doctors’ offices. We want residents to fully enjoy their retirement years without hassle. We make sure every step of the senior living transition process is smooth, so seniors can easily feel right at home with Senior Suites. Community Services and Amenities Residents at Midway Village can enjoy a variety of community services and amenities offered regularly right here on campus. Whether it’s engaging with neighbors in coordinated social activities, taking a trip to a local restaurant or Chicago attraction, or simply taking up a new book in the library, there’s something for everyone. We provide nutritious, freshly cooked meals, so our residents don’t have to cook unless they want to. Here, residents can flourish among their peers, make new friends, and enjoy a comfortable, active lifestyle — whatever their interests. Residents can partake in our enrichment programs, clubs, and social activities, which range from art to music to outings, events, and more. From our cozy library to our fitness center, we offer seniors convenience and comfort right in our building. We even offer transportation to make grocery shopping easy. Residents can have total peace of mind regarding safety thanks to our fully secure building, 24-hour response services, and daily check-in service. Living Options Senior Suites of Midway Village has a comfortable selection of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. All of our units feature a balcony/patio, full kitchen, bathtub or shower option with grab bars, individually controlled heating and cooling, and complimentary laundry rooms. Positive experience, would give a recommendation

It would be helpful for others to know that they have adequate handicap parking for residents, but not so much for others. There is limited parking for the guests. It is a locked facility so you have to have a key or call up to get in. Maintenance staff is very helpful and friendly. There is finally a new property manger that is on site who is friendly as well. I would recommend them to others looking.

not happy with experience

It is sad to say that no one never answer the phone nor is no one ever in the office. How can someone voice concerns if no one is available. I tried leaving voice message and the voicemail is full. Its obvious someone isn't working. I saw a review from 2017 with the same concern and 5 years later the same behavior. Please provide a callback number. As Google have given me a non working number as well.

I trust my mom in this place

We chose Senior Suites because of the location, the friendliness of the staff members, and the sizes of the apartment. The apartments are very nice, the choices of apartments are with shower or with a bath. They have a meeting room in the hallway of each section so you can entertain out there with friends and family. The outdoor area is very secure and safe. I would absolutely recommend.
