Shasta Estates Senior Living

This place was recently remodeled. It is clean and cute with lots of activities. There is a garden with cement paths. It’s close to Mercy Hospital. It’s also near a grocery store and drug store. The folks I met were very friendly. I feel good about my dad moving in there.

Dad's new journey

They have studio, one bedroom, two bedroom apartments. Dad's in a corner apartment little smaller but also priced little cheaper. They have housekeeping that comes by once a week to clean his room. They have laundry service for linens, bathroom towels but you wash your own personal clothing and they have a laundry room on each floor for the residence. Review for Shasta Estates Senior Living

A lot of fun activities. Very nice place and people. I would recommend. The only thing is with housekeeping. They have had trouble keeping people and therefore housekeeping has always been a problem.

Friendly but not living up to the sales pitch.

Activities are minimal, bus frequently down, cleaning service inconsistent due to lack of staffing, meals very inefficient and tenants frequently complain how long it takes for meal service. However, staff is friendly, and the place is maintained. Special holiday meals are upgraded and appreciated.

Unfortunately the elevator wasn't working so we didn't go upstairs. The only unit I saw was one just recently vacated and in need of repair. Fortunately that did not change my mind.
