The staff at Shawnee Memory Care are simply wonderful and show by example their love and dedication to those patients they care for. The building is well taken care of and no offensive odor present but does have a refreshing smell about the place. I really have no experience with other facilities to compare it with but I think they did a good job. The food and activities were adequate, everything seemed clean and well maintained and most important of all everyone on the staff genuinely seemed to care about my mother and the other residents.

The staff is professional, kind and caring treating residents with a loving touch and made me feel so comfortable around them. They take their work seriously and always willing to jump in and help when needed. The areas where residents lived was clean and neat and I never noticed the ever lingering smell of Clorox and urine but had a subtle pleasing aroma to it. Review for Shawnee Memory Care

All the staff is very caring. They have had some staff shortages since we've been there but I think that is pretty common nowadays. The staff that is there does their best to give the best care they can. It is expensive but seems to be average cost for that kind of facility. It was the closest to my home so I could visit easier. Also had heard good reviews of it.

The food and communication needs to improve

It was a clean community. The food was not that great. The communication needs to improve between the family, hospice and the community. They are way overpriced for what you get.

Outstanding Staff and Fantastic care

The staff at Belfair are outstanding. My mother is a resident there and absolutely loves them. They are always so kind and compassionate with each resident. She has made many new friends. Belfair is more like a resort than other facilities. I highly recommend Belfair of Shawnee to others looking for a place to provide your loved ones with the best care that they deserve.
