PositiveI thank God we found Shuler Health Care for my mother. They took wonderful care of her for over six years. When we first searched for care, we found numerous places that were two to three times the price, but none came close to the superior level of care she received at Shuler. They seem to maintain excellent quality control by utilizing small, family-like groups.
★★★★★
CriticalDon’t fall for the fakeness that is put on when you are looking. This place is no good. The staff do not take care of the residents! Management accepts no responsibility and blames everything on previous staff. All they are concerned about is money. Even use the resident's insurance cards to buy food. The Shulers are all about GREED!
★★★★★
CriticalThe Shulers put on a good show, but that’s all it is. The residents are not cared for properly and are mistreated by some of the house parents. Medication isn’t given as prescribed. No activities at all! The staff have no medical background and are just hired off the street to basically be sitters. Wouldn’t recommend.

CriticalWhen you are touring everyone is very nice and really sell you on the place. After you have been there a while, you find out the truth. My family member was mistreated by her houseparent the entire time she was there. I spoke to the owner several times, but she never did anything about it. My family member has been moved, but the evil houseparent is still there. The Shulers care about nothing but money!

PositiveThis community seemed pretty good but there was another location that was closer to my home and the budget worked better for my loved one. The tours were great and they gave me all the info I needed while at the community.
★★★★★
PositiveI would recommend it for any family member. They don't offer any activities. There is one option during meal times.
