The room is nice, according to my uncle needs. The staff taking direct care of my uncle are very nice, compassionate, caring, and communicative. The Community Sales Director, Nadja, is very professional, very helpful. The executive director, [name removed], needs to be a little more pleasant, more caring. The place is not dirty, but many times the smell is a little unbearable, specially outside of the memory care where my uncle is, and we understand that things happen. Not what was promised

It was good during the transition. However, there services aren't represented truthfully in the sales process. Overall, the experience has been mixed. The facility is generally clean; however, my father's room has an odor due to his roommate's incontinence. Friendliness depends on the person and the situation. Management can be defensive but is helpful most of the time. The quality of care also depends on the staff member, as the level of care can vary. The food is good. We walked in the front door and were immediately greeted by a happy resident who shared how much he loved living at Sodalis. I really like the resident ambassador program. We met with [name removed]. She answered all of our questions and understood the concerns we have for our mom. Our tour went well and we were able to see a room. We walked around the hallways and common areas. Since the change in management it seems the company is trying to make more money and cutting on cleaning, kitchen, basic supplies and activities.

Please note that key Managers were terminated and everything has gone downhill significantly since Corporate has been on- site for last 2 months. Only Activities has continued at its high level since that team has not been let go. The Chef quit almost 2 weeks ago and the new one isn't coming onboard until early May. The quality of the food has been in the pits and because Corporate neglected to order sufficient supplies we have run out of food, did not have any alternative options like hot dogs or hamburgers which …

Nice facility, and a little expensive, but I will consider this place as an option. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable.
