What if there is no room in memory care when you need it?

Their marketing revolves around continuing care. You move to the next level of care when needed. My mom got a UTI and that was it for logical thinking...she needed the supervision of the memory care unit. But no rooms in MC so she had to stay in AL for another month. She also had to pay for 1-on-1 care during that month at [amount removed]. Toured assisted living and was pleasantly surprised. Heard good things but went better than hoped. [Name Removed] the Sales Director was a wealth of information and resources. This can happen pretty seamlessly. The care team I met were attentive and kind. Pleasantly surprised how nice the studio apartment is. Pricing is comparable to what I’ve researched but much more clinical advantages and options for people to stay entertained. We will Be making Southport our new home.

Southport Square is the real deal

We had a pleasure of moving my mom to South Port Square. The sales Director Christina made a huge impact with us with her genuine compassion and care. The transition to get Mom to Assisted Living took work and she helped guide us the whole way. Everyone shares in the mission of treating my family like human beings. We did not have the same experience with Meridian Of Punta Gorda where my mother‘s health deteriorated from the lack of attention and care promised. Our biggest regret is not moving her from the Meridian…

From salesperson to the cleaner and everyone in between was extraordinary! They were so helpful in getting Dad moved in, settled, down to his final days! They have the type of people that enjoy their job, being caring and helpful! Wish we had started there sooner than we did! We spent a month at Meridian of Punta Gorda isles, and were severely disappointed with his medical and personal care! Complete opposite of Southport Square!

I appreciated [name removed ]'s help and the information provided. The staff seemed friendly/ helpful. Probably, the most encouraging about the facility was the medical support, which [name removed] told me Southport provided. It seemed more comprehensive than the other facilities, which I toured. Review for South Port Square, a CCRC

The administrator we met with was great [name removed]. Their evaluation process was thorough, they definitely do what is best for the resident. The feedback from the evaluation was honest and helped us make the best decision for my mom. The memory care and assisted living apartments are quite spacious and well maintained.
