If you are looking at Assisted Living options in the Willamette Valley area, I highly recommend Stoneybrook Assisted Living. My dad lived there for several years and enjoyed an excellent quality of life, largely thanks to being part of the Stoneybrook community. Food is pretty good and they do a good job accommodating Sharyn's gluten free needs. The staff all know [name removed] by name and seem very concerned for her welfare. She has had some issues with adjusting to her life there, but the staff are very willing to try to help her adjust. There was an upheaval with some sudden staff changes, but that has settled down. The manager regularly communicates with residents as well as their close friends and relatives, like me, about things that are happening at the facility. …

PositiveBased on our experience I would recommend Stoneybrook.
Recently some staff were let go. They were involved with the more exciting activities, so my friend has complained of the lack of activities. While most of the staff are caring and helpful, my friend has complained of occasional short tempers. Some of this may be due to the sudden loss of staff recently. Mostly my friend is pleased with her move to Stoneybrook.
