New management may bring improvements

Overall, the experience has been average. Cleanliness is excellent, and most of the staff are very friendly. The quality of care ranges from below average to average. The food has been poor, although I have heard it will be changing under the new management. The community has been under new management for about two weeks, so we will see how things improve. Mom gains new purpose

[name removed] says she is glad she moved to Edencrest at Beaverdale and that she should have done it sooner. The facility is small enough and charming; not reminding of hospital type settings. Her apartment is just the right size for her. She said the staff treats her very well and the food is good. They are clean, organized, caring and kind. I've watched her gain new purpose as she settles in and gets to know her neighbors and dinner companions.

Caring environment

My Father in Law passed away however during his stay the staff was very caring. The Dr. and nurse visited him frequently. Once he settled in he liked being in the memory care portion.

Review for Edencrest at Beaverdale

All Edencrests - managed by Highmark are horrible. We've filed a claim against Edencrest Pleasant Hill. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to any Edencrest! No one should choose any Edencrest. Dirty. Not properly trained. Under-staffed.

Great respite stay

Food was not great. Staff was amazing! So helpful and kind! Activities were fun and engaging. Wish bingo was every day. Dining was the only negative, food was unappealing and not a lot of choices. Definitely could improve in that area.

Started great but declining.

Mom went into edencrest beaverdale a year ago. It has gone down hill since then. Food being at the top of the list.
