About average

I am the legal guardian of a resident. He receives more family visits than most (please not no one can just drop off a lived one ANYWHERE and expect them to be taken care of properly at any price point). The medical care is better than most places by far. In house doctors nurses techs very very good. The food is average to worse than average (it is not healthful at all. Lots of heavy foods.) Families BEWARE

In a crisis we needed to find a place, for our loved one right away, and her doctors suggested memory care. The community leadership convinced us that memory care was not needed and they placed her in a vacant room. I'm convinced they just wanted to fill the room. They charged us a fortune and left my loved one in her room all day. She was not getting crucial medication on time, and they were not very attentive to her needs, wouldn't return calls and still have not provided an accounting for all the charges they wi…

Families in Crisis Beware

We needed to find a place, for my loved one right away, and the doctors suggested memory care. The community convinced us that memory care was not needed. My loved one was not getting medication on time, and they were not very attentive. They promised different things, and never delivered on anything. It was the worst experience, for my loved one and our familiy.

Caruth Haven Court

Our experience with Caruth Haven Court has been okay. We had to have a personal caregiver come in because people don't respond to the calls in a timely manner. It's that way everywhere, we've haven't had a place where staff have responded within 15 minutes. Aside from that, it's pretty and the food is really good.

This community was really nice. We were able to have lunch here and it was really good and they had a great chef. But they felt like my loved one did not qualify for assisted living. This was our first move so in order to get her to go we had to find someone who could handle her needs.
