Have had many great experiences here at Story Point Livonia with both residents and staff. Would recommend this facility to anyone interested in assisted living for themselves or a loved one. Everyone enjoys living or working here, and it shows on all the smiling faces that can be seen daily. A wonderful place to live, and will continue to do so.

My sister-in-law has moved from regular assisted living to memory care with Hospice. Unfortunately, she has fallen either from her bed or from her wheelchair at least once a week. Also, several times when we visited her the direct care workers were sitting and watching TV with the other residents while my sister-in-law was in her room alone, with no one checking on her.

I am very disappointed to see a reputable organization like A Place for Mom would recommend this facility. We had my dad there for just over a year and had nothing but problems from medication errors, failure to clean the room properly (including leaving poop on the floor for over 24hrs), lying to us about sending out at urine sample, and the list goes on. They have extremely high staff turnover.. from the time my dad moved in till when we moved him out only 3 staff members are the same as the day he moved in. The …

The meals and dining get a 5+. They have to check in and tell me what awesome meals they have every day. They haven't taken part in much on the activity end yet, but they have a very nice schedule of events. They are beyond happy, which is awesome because they were very skeptical at first. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families!
