About the community
Located on the McLaren Health Campus, Sugarbush Manor provides 14 private rooms with private half-baths. We are able to provide all the assistance with daily life for our residents and can accommodate a large variety of physical and memory care needs. We offer a wonderful homelike environment with a large dining and community area complemented by common areas for TV, music, activities, and quiet enjoyment.

PositiveMy family and loved one had a good experience with The Sugarbush Manor. The staff are friendly, respectful, accommodating, helpful, and compassionate. There are activities and meals provided to assist with socialization of the residents. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

CriticalMy loved one fell down the stairs and ended up in the hospital for a week. I thought that door was locked all the time for safety issues before we moved him in. It was not and my loved one had gone through a door and fell down the stairs into the cement basement and suffered a brain bleed and broken ribs. The facility never called me during this incident or to tell me he was taken to the hospital. They claimed to call my home phone once and not my cell phone. They did not call our emergency numbers. CriticalDue to COVID no one has been able to go back to the community and visit, but when we initially moved our loved one it, it was very clean. She says they do come and help clean her room during the week. To us, the staff members have been very friendly when we speak to them over the phone.
