The staff are friendly but they have had a shortage of staff, and it seems to be continuing. The facility is always very clean, smells good and they keep my mother's room clean. My mother's apt size is just perfect got her. Plenty of room even though it is a studio. I hear the food is good most of the time. Yes, I would definitely recommend Sunrise.

The team at Sunrise has been outstanding. They are caring and attentive. Highly recommend both assisted living and memory care.

Working on the kinks

The employees are friendly. Most seem they enjoy their jobs. My mother's windows were very dirty at move-in and have yet to be cleaned. TV cable provided did not work for a month. An account had to be opened for her. I am not sure how often her apartment is cleaned but it is dirty when I visit every week. Some silverware purchased for her apartment has been taken to the kitchen. Monthly activity and meal calendars would be helpful for visitors that do not have access to those otherwise.

Everyone very friendly, professional and appear to truly care about the person and just not a number. Very nice, clean, and comfortable facility. The room size we got was just the perfect size for my mother. All meals being included, nice outside area, many activities offered and just really nice people who know everyone by name.

warm and family-like atmosphere

Staff is great, very caring. My mom really likes the food. We've had a couple of mix-ups on the meds. Apartments definitely need a remodel. And the chairs, glasses and silverware in the dining room are way to heavy for frail old people. Staff is friendly and kind. Community has a warm and caring feel to it. I think because it's small and not one of those sprawling communities.

Kind and Experienced Staff combined with a beautiful and welcoming facility

The staff is tenured (many have been there for 5, 10, even 20 years). Move in was easy. The facility is beautiful. Meals feel like a restaurant. The bistro area is open all the time with snacks, juices and coffee. The activities are well-attended. It is also a very good value. They offer à la carte pricing so you only pay for the services you need. Anyone you send there will love it. I cannot recommend Sunrise on Hillcrest more highly. I actually helped one of my Mom's friends move there as well. It is a "no scrub…
