A Mixed Review

Beautiful surroundings. Excellent compassionate care. Excellent as a transition location while we searched for a permanent placement. On the negative side: the medical support during the time we were there, was disorganized and low quality. Once we got established with a permanent facility for my family member, we realized what top-notch, comprehensive medical support can be.

Mom moved in October and passed at the end of January. Construction on the common area started the day before she moved in. It was supposed to take 3 weeks but was still unfinished when she died 4 months later. There was very poor communication from Sunrise on progress and status, causing a lot of frustration. I don't know if it contributed to Moms decline, but it certainly didn't help. On the flip side, the staff was top notch. Very caring, loving and considerate.
