Would recommend as a place for family

From what I have seen, most meals are processed/prepared foods. I would like to see maybe a few healthier meals. Also, the rates just went up significantly. I realize that inflation has hit everyone, but a 10% increase it a big hit.

Friendly and helpful staff. They need to have ore activities provided.

Showed Mother Many-She Chose That Room in Jefferson at Sunset Ridge. The fact that it is a small group make it nice for the clients to get know each other as a "family" unit. Having carpet throughout the building is a plus. Leadership is new and learning. As with many, difficulties in keeping staff which is hard on clients living there. Communication and follow-up becomes problematic.

Overall pleased

I think they have a very friendly staff. They are a little short handed, but they are all very nice and caring. It is a smaller facility with only about 16 people at the moment, so the care is more personalized towards your loved one. The activities is something they could improve on, there is not much going on - but I know that the activities director seems to be doing more care since they are short staffed right now. I would recommend Sunset Ridge to others looking.

It is a safe, clean environment where the staff takes the time to know everyone. The activity director is awesome and plans many fun things to do. My loved one is happy here. I am welcome at anytime and I have joined many activities. Check out Sunset Ridge Facebook page and you will see many smiles.

I would highly recommend the community to others. The staff loves all the residents. My loved one loved the staff. The food was good overall for my loved one. The staff tried to get the residents involved in activities.
