Terra Vista of Oak Brook Terrace would be a 5! What a difference of a privately owned company who doesn't use any agencies to source their staff. They are all hand picked to ensure they have the "care giving gene." They have dedicated staff for housekeeping, cooking, and serving the residents. The CNA's and nurses are free to care for the patients, which makes a world of difference. The staff has empathy and goes above the beyond. Mom has been there for 4 years. We love the homey feel of the place. It doesn't feel like a medical facility, but more like a home. The staff is amazing, and you can really tell they care about the residents. I am there 3 times a week and put on a special movie every Friday night in the common living room. Staff is so helpful with getting everyone gathered with a cozy blanket to get ready for the movie. We toured several places when getting ready to move mom and by far we thought that Terra Vista blew them all away…

My mom is a resident at Terra Vista and I can't say enough great things about their facility. She receives excellent care 24/7. The staff are all wonderful and take such great care of her, as if she was their own mom. Her room accommodations are top notch! Mom has her own room with her own bathroom! Terra Vista is a wonderful facility. The staff are caring and do an excellent job with residents. The facility itself is always clean and well-kept with many stimulating activities for the residents. The courtyard is also beautiful through all 4 seasons.
