The Moorhead place in Indiana pa is in need of a program director. Since [name removed] left the moral of the residents is very low. She was the best and since she left as of right now I would not really recommend Moorhead. The staff that takes care of the residents are wonderful, kind, caring and compassionate.

I recently needed a place to continue to recuperate after an accident and before I was ready to be home on my own. The staff was very accommodating , I had access to o.t. and p.t. therapy and I had a private room and bath. The place is well maintained and clean. There is a dining room, a main gathering area, a private room for parties and several small areas for doing puzzles, reading or just relaxing, as well as an inner courtyard for outdoor activities. Value for cost - Unknown with no comparison. Staffing shortages on weekends. The staffing is our biggest complaint. I'm sure its like that everywhere.. no one wants to work and Indiana is a very small town

Moorehead Place is well kept. It is clean. The food is better than any other place I considered, greatly so. The activities are great. The nursing staff knows her and her needs and keeps me informed of any concerns. I don't think I could have found a better place for my mother. The staff keeps me informed. They answer all my questions quickly. I can sleep well at night knowing that my mom is well taken care of.
