Review for The Auberge at Aspen Park

-1. Not only did they lose several personal items including a hearing aid, but he came home with a raging case of cellulitis that we are still treating a month later.

The Auberge at Aspen Park

The best thing about it is that the facility/staff continue to view the patients/residents as humans. They are emotionally supportive as well as involved with physical care. The patients are often up and about the facility. They feel free to roam (safely within the closed spaces) and they feel like the place is home. When I arrive there, the people in the hallway are always curious about who I am and why I am in their home. I think this is a good indicator about how they are treated. This is their home and the care

I liked the Montessori philosophy that they have incorporated into their care plans. The room was an adequate size, but the bathroom seemed a little tight for the walker. They seemed to have a good number of activities; a good ratio of care givers to patients; friendly staff.

Professional yet caring memory care

The place is always clean, the food is good and the staff know the residents. I do recommend The Auberge, but only for residents needing dementia care as that are the only type of residents.

Review for The Auberge at Aspen Park

My mom Stayed for a short respite stay. Auberge has Nice staff, but they labeled my mom's door with the wrong name, and labeled all of her clothes permanently with the wrong name. She was wearing other people's clothes when we would stop by to visit, and they lost a bunch of her things. It took about one month to get most of it returned, and we never got everything back.

Knowledgeable staff and caring nurses

It has a full-time doctor there at the facility who specializes in Parkinson's disease. If you need to reach someone like a nurse or nurse's aide and no one is around, then go to the front desk and ask them to page someone for you. If the patient/resident is in a lot of pain and it's the weekend, Ask the nurse to call the resident doctor. He can help.
