Our family's experience

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Lots of fun activities for the residents, and a beautiful campus with a large lake. My parents are very happy there. And their apartment is large.

Overall Nice Community

It has been a great fit for my parents. The community is very welcoming. They love having their independence, but knowing there is support when they need it. The activities have been enjoyable for them as well. Overall they seem to be happy with their decision.

Great Decision!!!

A Place for Mom helped us connect with Elance now known as The Barclay. My parents have been thrilled with this location. It went very smoothly and we cannot be more grateful for the end result. They have been able to maintain their independence, but now have many activities to enjoy everyday.

My parents' experience

My father died in 2017, but my mother continues to live at the Fountains, now over 15 years. She moved to the Assisted Living residence in 2021. Overall, this has been a great place for both of them. They were active residents on the Board, bridge players, and friends of everyone. My mother will be 99 in July 2023, but her mind is sound and she appreciates that Assisted Living has what she needs at her time in life. We toyed with the idea of moving her to the DC area where we live, but the Fountains offers so much …

Life at the FountaIns

We live at the Town Center at the Fountains at Lake Pointe Woods. The most important facets of living here are the very friendly and caring residents; and the very pleasant and delightful staff. The feeling during this lock-down due to the virus...we are safe and secure. We may not always be happy with the restrictions, but we are all well and getting very good care. We feel lucky to be here. Thank you,

Best so far. Lovely facility. The right features and care. Affordable 1 bedroom. Moves to top of list. Still need to see Lakehouse West before making final decision. We have followup appt with my Mother joining us on Dec 20 @ 4pm.
