The Breakers at Edgewater Beach

The views are outstanding. The dining area in the glazed atrium makes the area look open so not closed in. I am moving in soon.

We were very impressed with the Breakers. [Name Removed] listened to all our concerns and answered all our questions. We love the location by the park and the lake. The dining room is amazing, as are all the common spaces. The pool is great. We were treated to lunch and everyone was very happy with their choices. The apartements are a good size and many have a great view of the park and lake. We like that there is an attached garage where my dad can have an indoor parking spot and where we can park when we come to …

The location and some of the people here as well as being close enough to friends from where I used to live are what I like best about this place. Not so that fact that this is an old building with issues

Our family's experience

Staff have been so welcoming, warm and supportive. There are a ton of daily activities and the resident community is super diverse and involved. Food options and service are high quality. My dad, who is a total introvert, has been in two plays, sings in a chorus, and attends a balance class. At 90, I think he's already extended his life by moving in 8 months ago.

There is a reason they're one of the most reasonably priced in the city on the north side you get what you pay for

The cleanliness and maintenance are excellent, and safety and security provide a very positive experience. There are many activities and social opportunities available, and both the dining experience and meal quality are very good. The staff is also highly responsive to residents’ needs.
