Lots of amenities and very kind staff

Mom moved into The Clare at the start of the year and so far it’s been a very good experience. The staff has been so friendly and kind, and mom is making use of the amenities. We have dinner with her quite frequently. Her apartment has a beautiful view and an amazing kitchen. The facility feels like home, and is very quiet and well taken care of. The location is ideal, close to everything. We are looking forward to the summer when we can go for walks with mom.

A wonderful, aesthetically beautiful place to retire to.

We moved from our home on Lake Shore drive for over 30 years to this wonderful facility. Residents are young seniors who are very participatory and outgoing. We felt at home the very day we moved in. All departments of the Claire share our exuberant reviews. Food is outstanding, management is on top of everything, and the facility is immaculate. A special “shout out” goes to the staff who are so very dedicated to the resident.

My perspective

The Clare is a well run organization that provides safety and security that is foremost importance. It offers plenty of opportunities to socialize both in place and out, such as outings whether it is for entertainment , outdoor activity or simply shopping. Availability of support staff is phenomenal that includes maintenance, nursing and security. The administration makes you feel as if one is living in his/her own home plus offering plenty of recreational opportunities such as the gym, programmed exercise classes,

The Best of City Living

[Name Removed] and I have lived at The Clare for three years, and it has been a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable; we love being able to walk to world-class cultural events, the hospital, and a diverse array of restaurants and shops. The fitness program is truly outstanding, offering everything from balance classes and cardio to personal training and aqua volleyball. Similarly, the dining experience is consistently excellent—varied and on par with a high-quality restaurant. We also take full advanta

A welcoming environment

We have been impressed with the wonderful welcome we received from both residents and staff. They made us feel comfortable and "at home" during our earliest days at The Clare and in our continuing months of living here. The staff members have been very responsive to our concerns or to various services needed, including transportation to various locales. The many activities provided from information sessions to musical offerings to highly rated films enhance the feeling of belonging and of comfortable living. We hav

The Clare as a safe haven

My mother has lived at The Clare for nearly 5 years now and is receiving the best care possible. All the staff - nurses, CNAs, RCAs, food service, housekeeping - go above and beyond with their daily responsibilities to the residents. The Life Enrichment team provide creative, thoughtful, stimulating activities every day and engage with everyone. I don’t have to worry about my mother’s care which is such a relief. My mother is happy, comfortable and she doesn’t have to worry either.
