About The Colonies at Windsor

The Colonies at Windsor is the assisted living branch of the Windsor Medical Center in North Canton, Ohio. A quiet suburb of Cleveland and Akron, North Canton is filled with families and retirees who are looking for a quiet, clean environment with great access to shopping and green space. The medical center is right next to multiple parks, churches, and shopping centers. Walsh University is also next door and provides youthful energy during the academic year. The Colonies consist of 50 private apartments and shared common areas. Families and seniors can choose from three different floor plans, and the apartments are large enough to comfortably accommodate couples. Apartments are also outfitted with kitchenettes and stately design touches. Residents appreciate the maintenance-free living they get at The Colonies. The 24-hour on-site staff provides three meals a day and helps with anything the residents need to stay independent, healthy, and happy. And because the assisted living community is attached to the Windsor Medical Center, which also offers rehabilitation and skilled nursing, seniors can access a continuum of care that changes as their needs develop. Seniors at The Colonies lead active, engaging lives. The staff and a group of volunteers organize daily fitness classes, games, and social events.
