What we like the most about the community is their heavy staff presence and their food communication. Yes we would recommend The Colonnade at Northdale community to other families based on the experience so far.

Positive[name removed] accommodated my weekend tour request, which was extremely helpful. She was the other building that offered that. After meeting with her and seeing the apartment, I knew it was the right place. The room had all hardwood floors which was something we wanted based on mom being in a wheelchair. Mom is an avid scrabble player, and they have a really cool JUMBO scrabble game with the other folks.

Communication was bad once you were a resident and care was no comparison to Weinberg - felt too corporate and only felt comfortable with physical therapy personnel. Too much time spent trying to let up issues. Very much smoke and mirrors. Now wish I had never put my dad at this facility

They're really trying but they might be a little under staffed Foods. Okay have tried some of it cuz I've ate with her. It's not nothing nothing to write. They're way overpriced. They should be probably half. I have a really strong feeling that if I didn't come visit and check things. They might not give my mom the care. She needs or that great of care.

The facility is kept extremely clean. The staff is pleasant to work with. Everyone has a smile on their face. I can't comment much about the food because obviously I don't eat it. But it smells really good when I get there and it's a meal time. Overall I would say it's very well run and they make new people comfortable in a hurry.
