CriticalNot happy about tempature of room
We checked my older cousin ( in his 80's)into the columns three years ago. His air unit went out the summer we checked him in. They put in a window unit that was not sufficient to cool the living area and his bedroom. The heat unit also didn't work and they gave him two electric heaters to warm his room. Because of his decline we had to move him to another facility at the beginning of the month we feel like we should have got some kind of payback since he was not there the full month. I would rate it a 4, only because there was a strong odor in the hallway when I moved my son in. However, that odor has decreased tremendously since then. Caring for the patient is very good, staff is very friendly,courteous,and professional. Yes I would recommend them, because of the quality experience of the staff, the social activities, and the meal arrangements whereby patients get an opportunity to meet and mangle .

This is really a nice, clean facility with a great staff. They work very hard as a team to make sure things are going smoothly and they meet the needs of my wife. Anytime I had a concern regarding my wife, they addressed it immediately and professionally. When the wall plug wasn’t working properly, maintenance showed up within 30 minutes and replaced it. They are a smaller facility so feel more like a family. Any problem she has they are right there to help me solve it. The apartment is a little larger than others we looked at so she feels more like she's in an apt rather than a facility. It was the right choice for her.
