Consistent care givers. Respectful yet friendly way care givers talk to residents. Willingness to listen and problem solve when issues arise. Staff always make me feel welcome when visiting. You can visibly see that the staff cares for their residents.

PositiveThe Elms was impressive and we liked it very much. However, the memory care unit is only one hallway and at this point in my husband‘s diagnosis he needs more room to move around. Assisted living is very nice and gives the residence lots of opportunities to do just about anything they want under supervision. The rooms are nice. The staff is wonderful. We had a great experience.

multiple Family members have lived here throughout the years, My aunt had to utilized their wonderful extensions of care due having dementia she was able to keep functionality with familiar friends and workers by transitioning from villa to the assisted side and finally to memory care where she was still able to stay close to friends she made in the community. It was far and above the best community available locally and the value for cost exceeded other choices. The floor plan is generous and well designed. The community is clean and inviting. The staff are friendly and caring. I would recommend Rittenhouse as a great place to live in Michigan City.

Rittenhouse in Michigan City has been a wonderful experience right from the beginning. The admissions person was very knowledgeable and welcoming throughout the process. The atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy and my Mother just loves it there. I would highly recommend Rittenhouse to others.
