Conveniently located in prestigious North Macon, The Gables are nestled within the beautifully landscaped area of Wolf Creek. Churches, banks, restaurants and shopping are only five minutes away. Our luxurious but affordable patio homes are available with one and two bedroom floor plans with spacious kitchens including all major appliances. Full size washers and dryers are provided. Most two bedroom plans have a sunroom. Each home in this gated, controlled access community is equipped with its own security system with daily check-in feature. Delightful details such as 9' ceilings, crown molding, custom cabinets, hardwood floored foyers, ceramic tile floored bathrooms all combine to make gracious living a reality. Roomy closets including a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, plus floored attic make wonderful storage for your indispensable treasures. All homes have a single car garage with automatic door, deep covered front porches and back patios. Our reasonable monthly fee includes all utilities, trash pickup, pest control, security system, expanded cable TV, interior and exterior maintenance, landscaping with in-ground irrigation system. Dogs 20 pounds and under and de-clawed cats are allowed with payment of a non-refundable pet fee.

It is perfect! I have a full kitchen, a porch and patio. Wonderful tub and shower that I can get into. Tell everyone to come look! They do not provide food unless it is part of activities, but everything else is great! I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living!

I have lived at The Gables for almost 3 years come June. I loved it even before I came for the tour. The staff at a Place for Mom was wonderful. They put me up in a very nice suite at The Gateway while I did the tours. Everyone taking me touring were fabulous as well. Moving here was one of my best life decisions!! Everyone that comes to visit me comments on the beauty of the neighborhood. We all love our flowers. Anyone coming here will also enjoy all the fun activities. I did not think we would be able to find anything better than skilled nursing for my mom since she broke both legs in a fall and she is in advanced stages of Alzheimers. Avalon Memory Care welcomed her with open arms. Being a small facility, they only have about 20 residents. Most in the same condition as my mom. Some a little better, and some a little worse. She immediately improved under their care with more attention, more social time, and WAY better food. Eating was crucial for her so that her legs could heal.…
