The Inn at Whitewood Village is an assisted living residence located in the historic town of North Canton, Stark County, Ohio. Home to the original Hoover Vacuum Cleaner company, the town has a spirit of independence and entrepreneurial fervor that has been passed down to everyone to a small degree. The Inn at Whitewood Village realizes this mindset and always seeks to go the extra mile for their clients. The Inn at Whitewood Village has always sought to go the extra mile for all of their residents. Their motto is that they 'treat each and every one as if they are their own mother, father, grandmother or grandfather.' The staff provide a number of assisted living services in order to help their clients. This would include assistance with orientation, mobility, hygiene and many other services as well. They provide a number of important benefits for their residents, including three full meals a day, all utilities provided, and a weekly schedule of housekeeping and laundry services. They also have services available for those who are suffering from memory care issues, such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Besides the dedication of the staff, there are a number of amenities for each resident. These would include the following: Various walking trails Chapel services for those with religious beliefs A beauty and barber salon Private residential kitchens and dining rooms Lunch outings Movie theater opportunities Fully functional activity center The staff at the Inn at Whitewood Village is not only dedicated to the care of their residents, but they also desire to see them continue to thrive and enjoy their lives with love, laughter and new friends along the way.

CriticalThey need to TRAIN THE AIDES before they assign them someone to shadow. The good aides train people on the floor for 3 days and then they are turned loose to take care of patients. NOT WORKING WELL!!!! Night people need to check residents more often and keep residents in their own rooms and keep them out of other residents beds!! PositiveThe people in assisted living are very nice. The residents are always happy to welcome a new resident in, introduce them, and invite them to sit at their table.
