The Lakes offers seniors resort-style living with luxury amenities amidst idyllic vistas. The Lakes at Stillwater comprises three neighborhoods, all combined to cover one large campus. The Lodge offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care accommodations. Birchwood Landing offers independent living, and Sandhill Shores offers 55+ senior living. The Lakes at Stillwater offers an array of beautiful, modern apartments and lakeside cottages where seniors can receive high quality personalized care that’s adjusted to fit their changing needs. The community’s professional staff offer assistance with activities of daily living, incontinence care, medication support, diabetic care, memory care, and more. The Lakes’ pet-friendly homes have options of kitchens or kitchenettes, as well as private patios, balconies, or decks. Homes feature large windows that bring in plenty of light and gorgeous views. The homes are also equipped with wheelchair-accessible showers and private fireplaces. The Lakes features a large clubhouse with beautiful common areas, including a fitness center, a movie theater, a kitchen/bar, a full-service salon, and beautiful fireside lounges. The campus also has several furnished patios with fire pits, ideal for enjoying the fresh air and views of the surrounding nature preserves. Residents enjoy restaurant-style dining, housekeeping and laundry services, and an array of enrichment events. The Lakes at Stillwater is a welcoming and beautiful facility. The walking trails around Long Lake are well groomed and used by all - even those in walkers. The receptionist is so friendly and knowledgeable. The dining room food is excellent and there is a cafe that has delicious soups and fresh made to order sandwiches and baked goods and snacks.

PositiveMy Experience
The staff at The Lakes at Stillwater are all very nice and friendly. The meals are good, but I would like them to be a little bit more restaurant quality and not so family style. But overall, I give The Lakes at Stillwater high marks for being a quality facility.

PositiveA life of actively aging
When my father-in-law walked in the front door.... he said he didn't really need to look at any other spaces.... this was where he wanted to live.... other places were not nearly as warm and friendly feeling as this facility.... The residents are active and friendly and enjoy the moving and thinking activities! Staff work especially hard to be sure everyone feels supported.

CriticalNeeds better Management
The Director of Nursing cares less about the residents and more about making herself look good. She will lie and tell everyone what they want to hear and then bash families behind closed doors. The facility is gorgeous and the Rock steady boxing program is great! If you don’t need the class I wouldn’t move here you’ll be horribly disappointed.
