1. 4 Setting up communication could have been smoother once dad was accepted and moved in. 2. 5 Very clean and inviting. 3. 5 Everyone, from all positions and other residents, friendly, caring, supportive, respectful and welcoming. 4. 4+ Not sure all techs have adequate or appropriate training. Ability to de-escalate confrontations with Memory Care residents, following All care requirements, which differ resident to resident. Ex: applying both compression socks and knee stabilizer (neoprene) daily then remov

Our tour guide of the Landing was great. He showed all that is good about the assisted living area. The facility is very nice and homey, and the residents seemed happy and well cared for. We then toured the dementia wing on the second floor. All seemed good there, but personally, I did not like the urine smell in that wing. Not sure why that has to be. After that our tour guide, sorry I don't remember his name, took us to his office and explained more about the Landing and what good and positive things that goes o

Not a good fit

There were some care givers who were great and some who were not. My father was in the memory care unit which we found out later that the landing is not a skilled nursing facility which his insurance then would only pay a portion and not the total bill. The Landing and the insurance company never pointed this out. My father was sent to the ER 5 times with the last when he passed. Most times he was sent by the landing where the hospital had no idea why he was there except for behavior due to his dementia.

Not what was expected....

At first glance and visit is 5 stars until you become a resident. Yes the staff is very friendly and respectful, the best thing that it has an I rate it the 5 and above is the dining room and the food is amazing. It's a very clean place but the care that most of the staff caregivers and nurses are very questionable, this is a 5 level assistant living place who sends out residents with dementia to appointments alone or the emergency department and that's unacceptable . Most of this people need some type of guidance

The Landing of Brighton

We are still working on a relationship with facility/staff so I don't really have any comments. As most places there are some great staff members who engage wonderfully with the residents and some not as much. Overall, everyone is friendly
