My mother in law moved into the independent residence part of the Oaks at Lebanon a few years ago. After about six months she transferred to the Assisted Living side. The staff and administrators are great. They care about all of them. There are many activities ranging from exercise, crafts, special events, country drives and trips to shop plus more. My loved one was previously a resident at The Oaks at Lebanon and we did not have a good experience at this facility. The cleanliness was good. The friendliness and activities were okay. The care services and ultimately the value for cost, however, were terrible. My loved one had many issues at this facility. Individual Care/Assistance was not great nor timely when needed. There were issues with the kitchen and the food. Overall, just not a good experience and I would not recommend The Oaks at Lebanon to others.

So far the Oaks has been a good fit for my dad. The staff has been great, the place is always clean, good meals and my dad hasn't complained one time. From the staff I have worked with they all seem to be caring, always talking to the residence, they know their names, they have an activity program, my dad likes getting his hair done....

Every time we are able to visit the cleanliness of the entire community is consistent, it is always really well kept. We were able to have a lunch there one time with our loved one and by that experience the meals seemed good - he indicates to us that he enjoys the meals. They do seem to have a good amount of daily scheduled activities for the residents to participate in. The staff are confident in their care but we really appreciate how they know every single residents by name, and speak to them when passing them …
