The Pines of Mt. Lebanon

Activities are amazing. Nurses, same ones all the time. We have a great Raport with them. We love [name removed] the director. My mom loves the food. Its cozy there and you ask them to do things a certain way (moms skin care), they listen and report it to everybody. Only down side is smaller room and bathroom for slightly more money. Its worth the trade for us. The residents are all happier. They Never complain.

awesome experience

I visited a friend last week. The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly. Caregivers are ok. The main boss has a wonderful, caring spirit and extremely knowledgeable. My family member is happy here.

Our family's experience

The experience we had in the eight months my sister was a resident was top notch, from the administrator to the "blue angels" as my sister called her caregivers, to [name removed] the building maintenance coordinator, [name removed] the front desk receptionist. I have several other friends who have had experience with the Pines. All of us agree that our loved ones were not just cared for in a manner we would hope, but went over and above. We weren't with my sister when she passed, but her caregiver that day stayed

Response from the community

Your positive feedback means everything to us. We're honored that your sister received exceptional care from our "blue angels" and entire team during her eight months as a resident. It's meaningful to hear that the administrator, caregivers, building maintenance coordinator, and front desk receptionist all contributed to making her experience top notch. We're touched that her caregiver stayed beyond her shift to be with your sister when she passed and even attended the memorial service - this speaks to the genuine connections our staff forms with residents. Knowing that you and your friends who have experience with the Pines all agree that we went above and beyond in caring for your loved ones is the highest compliment we could receive. We're also glad you witnessed firsthand how our staff knows the names of all residents, as this personal touch is something we take great pride in maintaining.

Critical

A daughter's regret

There was only one aide in memory care. So care was not even minimal at best. There were NO activities except for sitting in front of a tv in a very dark room I had to argue to have her clothes washed, even though I was paying for that service. They "lost" 5 pairs of her pants - never to be found. The food was awful. The one day I went looking for an aide to help me get my mom out of bed and nobody was to be found. I asked at the office and was told that the aide assigned there has to leave early to catch her bus.
