The care partner staff is exceptionally helpful, as are the nurses on all shifts. They have doctors on call and offer other geriatric patient care. The administrative staff is good and works well with residents to fulfill needs. I do feel there could be additional activities on the weekends, but I know there are issues with these types of activities. The community is pretty rough getting to the Algiers Point; but seems to be OK around the location. My mom is quite happy there. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The room she is in is full of windows and allows her to people watch, which she loves. The food is good and the chef, [name removed] really cares about the people she feeds and that they enjoy their food. If she doesn't like something, they fix her something else to her liking. She had a serious problem with inconvenience especially during the nig…

My loved one is a resident at The Suites at Algiers Point and overall the experience has been good. We have had no problems. The food is acceptable, not outstanding. Sometimes communication with the family is good and other times not. Staffing can be a problem sometimes. Also, there are not a lot of activities. But overall, I am pleased.
