Off hours place was under staffed, and did not communicate properly.

My husband and I are still living very independently, but far away from our only son, his wife and two grandkids. We wanted to learn about what the Village at Mill Landing offered in the event we needed that level of service. The tour was led by [name removed]. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and well prepared. Happy but working on issues

The food is great. My dad loves it. The apartment size is perfect for 1 person. I wouldn't want to have a second person in there with him though. That would be too crowded. Their activities are great. That's what my dad needs is interaction with others. I do wish that he could sit with who he wanted to at the dining table though. Mill Landing Enhanced Memory Care is Deficient

Mill Landing Memory Care and Enhanced Memory Care Units are not for everyone. If your memory care loved one is docile, retired, quiet, composed, sleeps through most of the day and doesn't require much aide attention, it may be for you. If you loved one doesn't fit those standards, ML is not for you. My loved one, an Alzheimer's patient, was a member of ML for 8.5 months - actually 7.5 months if you take away the time spent recovering in Hospital and therapy from major falls at ML - broken ribs, punctured lung - du…

Took a little bit to get her routine down. The care givers to get to know her. Overall we have had a good experience

Review for The Village at Mill Landing

What stood out is it's a Nice clean modern facility. Staff was friendly meals and activities were well structured . Drawback was with paid for extra dementia care, the facility was understaffed especially at night and weekends and care was sparse.
