PositiveStaff recommend move in service was good and fairly priced. Many in-house activities. Landscaped grounds with frequent events in the village green, nice planning for holiday events. Great communication with families.

CriticalThe place overall is nice. Having said that, you're always going to find 1 or 2 people that are part of the staff that could use additional training. I guess the training would entail something like how to be more professional at work. There are activities that are offered but what would be nice is to have someone to encourage the residents to participate more and leave their rooms. The food is good and the place is clean.

PositiveUnity’s sale staff was so helpful and never showed any frustration as some of our questions were asked multiple times. We were shown every courtesy in viewing all areas of the site. Staff that we passed in the hall always made sure they greeted my mom. The facility services all my mom’s needs, from podiatry to a salon. She loves the food and the endless activities offered. I would highly recommend the Village at Unity

CriticalI'm sad to say that I need to write a negative review as things have changed dramatically over the past year. We loved the Memory Care team when we joined last year - they were supportive and understood my parent's interests and needs. Since then there has been a complete turnover in staff. None of the new staff has had training on working with dementia - leads to upsetting and confusing interactions for the residents. Many of the staff are filling in from another area of the facility. All of this while the monthly…
Response from the communityThank you for your comments. We take your concerns very seriously. The entire living experience here at The Village at Unity is a priority for all of us. All of our residents and our exceptional staff are important members of our community, working together to create a family atmosphere. If you would like to speak again about your concerns on behalf of your dad, I would be more than happy to arrange something. Thank you again for your feedback.

PositiveAfter touring the complexes A Place For Mom set up for us, Unity exceeded our expetations. Beautiful grounds. Bright clean buildings. Many activities. Fine dining options. Friendly staff. Outside areas for each apartment and monthly dining allowance were the most impressive points.
