★★★★★
PositiveRelatively new, good food. They included laundry and weekly cleaning.. they took my husband to all of his appointments, for a monthly fee. Location good for us and they have a very intelligent group of clients.

Positivewhat we like the most about Allegro Richmond Heights are the aids that are friendly to mom, and it provides transportation to her doctor appts. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families but their administrator left and the head nurse left. So it's in a bit of chaos right now

CriticalAllegro is not a great place, but I don't think it's the worst. If I had to do it over, I would not have chosen this facility. When my mom moved in, she was in the assisted living population, and had a key to her room . She had a debit/credit card to use if she went shopping or out to lunch with old friends. By the end of the year, she was moved to the memory care ward ( I was not there for the move). PositiveVery nice place to be. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is very good. The facility is clean and laundry is done nicely. My only complaint has been with urine catheter help. The staff empties the bag, the can put a new bag on. They will not flush the line and that has created lots of er visits due to a blocked catheter. I thought that catheter help included all tasks associated with a catheter. I recommend allegro, except for the catheter issues.

PositiveMy husband was there for 4 months to continue rehab in assisted living space after hospital and extensive nursing care. He has been home now since November. It was a "yes" the moment I walked in. Very very pleased all around. Friendly, welcoming, attentive and responsive to his particular needs. So grateful for "A Place for Mom" in setting up initial contact.

PositiveThe facility itself is clean and is like a hotel. The staff is great. The food is pretty good, with lots of options. We have had no issues with communication. Parking is off street or across the street, which can be a hassle if you're in a hurry. It is also right by the hospital and medical offices, which makes appointments easier to navigate. There are lots of activities, including some where guests are invited.
