Here, seniors are encouraged to live a healthy and active lifestyle. That is why dedicated associates provide a robust list of life enrichment activities along with various educational and wellness programs, while community chefs prepare nutritious restaurant-style meals and healthy snacks daily. Twin Rivers provides personalized care that is tailored to fit the individual needs of each resident. There’s even a memory care neighborhood that is specially designed for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. This neighborhood features recognizable landmarks and sensory cues to promote independence and diminish excess stimulation. Additionally, caregivers use the community’s exclusive approach — The Village Program® — and It’s Never 2 Late technology to create daily routines and activities that mirror each resident’s former lifestyle and interests. Twin Rivers isn’t just like home — it is home State Classification Twin Rivers is a Type B assisted living facility . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. PositiveWonderful community or my Dad is very happy here.
Everyone that we've had contact with has been so nice and so helpful. All the common areas are so clean and bright and pleasant. My dad has only had great things to say about the food. He has enjoyed many of the activities. There's just always something going on there it seems. Group talks, lectures, trivia, games, bingo, crafts, etc. My Dad has a studio apartment and that's perfect for him. Plenty of room for what he needs.
