The staff is nice. They are on top of informing me of appointments, physical therapy, etc. The place is clean. She seems good!

A nice community with some room for improvement

I thought the staff was kind and caring. I do think like most faculties they were short staff. My mom did have quite a few falls while being there. She did end up in the hospital from one of the falls and then we had to move her into memory care so she could receive more care. At the time my mom was there they were going through new ownership. When I did my tour and signed the paperwork I was not made aware of the pending change. I was somewhat irritated about that. My mother was there for only about 6 weeks befor…

Memory care Staff ….

I have quite a few bones to pick. First of all, they never do any activity with the residence in memory care they are constantly plopped in front of the TV when I go visit my love one, and on top of that, you walk in and see the CNA sitting down on their phones while you have residence asleep flopping over, watching TV. The fact that the CNA‘s in there does not speak English.( there is nothing wrong with that.) but if we can’t communicate about my loved ones care , how is my love One who has dementia supposed to co…

Not what we expected

We will be moving my loved one out to find another facility. They worked with house doctors and with my loved one in memory care, it seemed like their objective was to get my loved one totally sedated and zonked out to make it easier for them to handle. My wife had concerns about bruises on one of the residents, and then they didn't like that and they accused my wife of pulling my loved ones hair and then wouldn't allow my wife on the property. Our families experience

What we really like about this community is being able to visit at any time and the friendliness and competence of the staff. Given the chance we would recommend the Escalante at Willow Creek community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Our family visited Escalante at Willow Creek, it seemed nice from pictures and all that had researched on. Just didn't feel the right connection for us while on the tour, it was nice but many residents seemed to be unhappy and not as cheerful as expected. Not certain what was the issue or if was just an off day, but did not end up choosing this facility for my loved one.
