Nice on the outside but not on the inside

I had a loved one here and the place was always short on help. Always had unfilled shifts that were never tried to be filled. It so short staffed that residents don't get the care they need do to the lack of staff. I heard staff there talk about a strike till a new scheduler is in place. Do you really want your loved one in a place where staff is talking about going on a strike.

Don't use this place

CEO does not want to hear of real problems, and takes the position of staff rather than making sure the residents are safe. Overall, their is too many people doing overlapping jobs which makes their expenses higher than necessary The senior managers are more concerned with raising money any way possible, fees, donations, special events, than making residents feel at home, feel safe, feel medically cared for Their medical decisions and actions are terrible, and they do not follow orders from doctors. Some staff is i

The assisted living and independent side was great.

This facility has assisted living, and assisted living light (independent), as well as memory care. The assisted living and independent side was great. We really liked them. They were awesome, the food was wonderful, the apartment was beautiful. We hated the memory care though, it was like a nursing home/hospital environment. The activities weren't really appropriate for people in memory care, the food was not good. We had seen the staff be a little impatient with some of the more difficult memory care residents. I

Not A Good Experience

Our view is they tried to kill my mother. That's probably not their view. She turned bright blue and they just said she was dying and sent her off to the hospital. She wasn't dying. That's when we moved her. This was 3 years ago.
