★★★★★
PositiveThey are short staffed currently and things that are promised are not happening timely. The activities are very oriented to women and are not overly enticing. There are definitely ways they could engage their residents differently. I am hopeful with the spring and summer months coming it will change. The meals are not as good as as they originally promised and often take a very long time (understaffed). Overall these are opportunities to strengthen the community not reasons to leave. The executive director is very …
★★★★★
PositiveThe design of the building. The room sizes and high ceilings. 2 on the food. Started out a 5 though but has gone down hill in the past year.. I would recommend this place. I hope they add more activities for these seniors and better food. Warm food. Not cold
★★★★★
PositiveWe visited seven facilities and took tours and met with staff in five. Three met our requirements as to meal plans, quality of the apartments and overall facilities, ease of transfer from independent living to assisted living to memory care if needed. Our cousin [name removed] is very complimentary of facilities and staff and she finds the place attractive, clean and friendly. She's independent living at Vitalia Highland Heights in Cleveland Ohio.
★★★★★
PositiveClean, very friendly staff, just unfortunately, they are short staffed for the dining room. The food is good. Eat anytime. Friendly residents.
★★★★★
CriticalThe tour was fantastic and looked like this would be a great place. My father fell one week into his stay, and the motion cameras caught it as promised. The assistants were attentive and called an ambulance, but they NEVER notified our family that he was transferred to the hospital, and he was transferred without his phone. We found out by an alert on my chart three hours later. Lots of excuses were made, but no sincere apology was offered.
★★★★★
PositiveThere is a community feel there which I like. They could improve on communications and weekend staffing. Yes, we would recommend Vitalia Active Adult Community at Highland Heights to other families based on our experience.
