Mom's great experience

All 5s except for the meals and dining food. Most of the food is good but mom has been disappointed with some dishes. However what we like the most about the community is their very friendly and caring staff; residents are also kind, it didn't take long for mom to make friends; good amount of activities each day

Good facility

Beautiful building and rooms. Good food. Nursing is attentive but they could use an extra nurse during the day in assisted living part of the facility

My mom's journey

The food is good there is a variety but portions are small. My mom is happy with the variety of activities. They issued a 9% increase just last week. Overall pleased but that was big. Overall, my family is very pleased. The staff works hard. There are many different things to choose from in activities. They have special meals and brunches for the families. Very friendly staff and they were able to share their philosophy of care for dementia patients. I also liked the way they included the residents in memory care with residents in other levels of care

I had a wonderful tour. The staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, and gave me a folder to take with me. They are out of my price range., but it is a lovely place.

Just what we needed

The very first day of being at Vitalia in Stow, my sister was content and didn't want to leave. She is safe, happy and loves everyone and everything about her "New Home!!"
