Waterford at College View

My dad lived there - I visited several times a week.

A great facility with caring and honest staff! My dad's health and cognition improved so much as they advocated for him and got him off several medications. He always felt comfortable and safe there!

Understaffed

The rooms are extremely small. Cleaning isn't the best. They do need to clean the bathrooms more often. And I think they could use at least one more member on staff. They don't communicate the best. I came in one day to visit my loved one and saw him on a stretcher ready to go on the ambulance, and I didn't know anything about it. I had talked to them about 2-3 times earlier that day and asked them what was going to happen. They didn't even tell me they were going to take him anywhere. So I didn't know what was goi…

I would recommend

We chose Waterford at College View because of the proximity as well as the value for the money, they are also a pet friendly facility. The room sizes here are sufficient, they are not super big but you are able to fit things in there. When the meals were being delivered, it was made off premise so they were cold and the meals were not seasoned. Based on our tour, this was a great place, but very expensive. It was absolutely beautiful, and it would have been an option had we had the financing available.

If only I could give zero stars. This place has been a nightmare. I can only recommend that people stay away. It is the administrators, directors, and owner that deserve the low rating. Save yourself from grief, anxiety, stress, fear and frustration by not putting your Mom at The Waterford.
