PositiveVery nice facility. Comfortable size apartment. Clean with simple floor plan. A very nice community. Staff a friendly, professional and kind. Memory care was a sunny area with an active community. Rooms were a good size. The Waterford Grand has a lot to offer. I left the tour with a sence of " I found the perfect place!"

PositiveThe staff at The Waterford are nothing short of exceptional. When my brothers and I began the difficult search for a long-term memory care community for our mom, The Waterford was the first place we visited—and it immediately set the standard. From the moment we walked in, the team made a remarkable impression with their professionalism, warmth, and depth of knowledge. [name removed]., one of the Community Relations Directors, was especially outstanding. His compassion, patience, and genuine understanding of what …

PositiveI toured the facility and liked it, so I took my mom to see it a couple of days later. She also liked it. We had lunch. The server was polite and helpful, the food was good and so was the view - we could see the river from the window. We also toured the apartments, which were very nice. They seem to have a good exercise program and lots of activities for the residents. We will probably go back for another look. Overall, we were very impressed.

PositiveMy mother loves the facility, the other residents and her location. Her biggest complaint is the food. It is terrible! I've eaten meals with her and they are not well balanced, small portions and just terrible! Her most recent complaint was an egg salad sandwich that she waited for over an hour to have prepared and was served with barely any egg, a sloppy mess of mayonnaise. She asked for a pickle and was given a cup of relish. Food is a huge element of elder care. These meals are accompanied with social time. T…

PositiveGood: I was able to find plenty of contacts and information about care facilities that made my decision easy. Bad: I got a ton of spam phone calls from every provider asking how their service was

PositiveI thought the Waterford was a beautiful place. Great curb appeal and very nice staff. [name removed] who gave me my tour was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the memory care program. He took me all around the facility and showed me all the activities and rooms that were available. This is a really tough decision, putting my mom in a memory care center. I cried leaving after my visit. I am definitely keeping your place on my list. But I’m not quite ready to put her in yet.
