There is a large variation in floor plans at Waterford, creating a slightly different layout from the model visit to the actual apartment received (slightly different size, layout, amenities) [Name Removed] was responsive and flexible with helping us determine the best options for my parents.

PositiveThis was definitely the very best place for my sister-in-law. She didn't participate in any of the offered activities because she wasn't well. But she did enjoy meeting and getting to know people in the dining room. And the food was delicious. The staff were wonderful. They were always friendly and willing to help. We were concerned about being able to get additional help as it was needed and [name removed]company did a wonderful job. I would be definitely recommend this facility to my friends in San Diego.

PositiveThe staff was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and the residents seemed happy. One resident stopped me to tell me that he had visited many places before settling at Waterford, and he felt it was the best decision ever. Recommendations like that speak to the good care residents receive. The only complaint I might have had was the dearth of visitor parking. The nearest parking I found was nearly a quarter mile from the facility.

PositiveCleanliness and approachability. Very good food. Horrible bus. No more than 10 people can go on a tour/excursion. If wheelchairs are needed then that takes up a spot too. It's hard to see out the window because the bars between the windows really block your view. They also don't play a lot of classic movies
