PositiveThe main concerns were around staffing in the memory care unit, where it felt like they were a bit short-staffed and could use more help. Food service was also mostly good, but for memory care residents it would be better to have more easy-to-eat options already prepared in smaller bite-sized portions since many of them aren’t able to cut their food themselves. That said, other options were available on request, like ordering sandwiches ahead of time, it was just not always the most convenient.

PositiveThe staff was great, very helpful, and the care was great. The rooms were clean, and the studio apartment that Dad and Reva lived in had a better view than the garages. Dad did not care much for the food because he felt there were too many hamburgers and cheeseburgers. He would have preferred meals such as spaghetti and bread, salads, meatloaf, tater tot casserole, pies, and cookies. One suggestion would be to add a patio garden with flowers or another outdoor area where residents could sit and enjoy the view.

CriticalService was acceptable but did not stand out. I would recommend getting any promises in writing and confirming that they have sufficient staffing before proceeding.

And now we're dealing with corporate to get a refund for an overcharge after our loved one passed, and we're getting nowhere. It's been over 30 days and we can't get a callback, or a reply to an email, from corporate or from the facili…

CriticalIt was comfortable there but I can't help but feel like they take advantage of the sick and elderly

PositiveThe floor staff (activity leader, CNAs, lunch servers, etc...) is fantastic, friendly and inviting. The food could be improved on. It seems to be getting better with the new cook though
