PositiveVery supporitive an felt heard when I had questions about my care or billing questions. I feel that [Name Removed] cares about me and others. I always see him out and about with other residents. He and the team have a broad interest in more than just their job. I always get a "Hello[Name Removed]' from staff, even if I dont know them. Trust is important and it is evident.
Response from the communityHi Willy, Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s wonderful to hear that you’ve felt listened to whenever questions have come up and that you’ve had the support you needed along the way. We're especially glad to hear you've built a sense of trust with the staff and leadership. Knowing you're greeted by name and regularly see leadership out spending time with residents says a lot about the relationships that make a community feel welcoming.

PositiveI would say five for all of them. As far as quality of care, she really doesn't have any extra help with showering or medication or anything like that so I don't know that I'm a really great judge of that. But we had had experiences where she hasn't come down for a meal and they seek her out to find out why not and bring her a meal if she doesn't feel well so I do feel like they keep an eye on the residents . They have a tremendous assortment of food options for every meal, and the quality is very good We haven't…

We also appreciate you highlighting the spacious rooms, clean environment, and the wide variety of culinary offerings. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback!

PositiveI found this place for a dear friend who had cancer, she passed a way last week. Quartet worked with Hospice in caring for her. They did an excellent job of caring for her.
Response from the communityThank you for sharing this. The care and compassion that went into supporting your friend through her final days is something our team at StoryPoint Bettendorf takes deeply to heart, and it means a great deal to know they were able to provide comfort during such a difficult time. We're very sorry for your loss.

PositiveThe experiences I have had with the activities department has been very disappointing. Many times in the memory department there is no staff. No staff because meetings are at the same time as activities. Therefore, meetings took precedent; therefore activities suffered. Bake club lacks the baking supplies to have the activities. I have had to teach the exercise class many times because there wouldn't be any if I didn't. I feel the memory care unit is never a priority.
Response from the communityHi Lanette, Thank you for your continued involvement in our memory care community. We always want to ensure our families feel heard, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We are incredibly grateful for the time you have spent leading exercise classes with our residents. Our understanding was that this was a voluntary arrangement born out of your love for fitness, but we hear your frustration. Our official programming begins daily at 9:30 AM, following our morning team meetings. We are excited to have our new Life Enrichment Director provide consistent leadership, structured programming, and fully stocked activities, including the baking classes. Our memory care residents are a top priority for us, and we are committed to ensuring this transition period brings the positive changes you expect to see. We would welcome you to contact our Executive Director at (563) 293-2050 to help address any questions and concerns you may have going forward.
