Mom left Bickford in March because I was unhappy with the care she got there. Most of the staff were kind and trying to do their best but chronically understaffed and poor communication between shifts, admin and staff. Again, many staff members were awesome. Not enough of them to do the job properly.

Facilities were beautiful and well maintained. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The activities director drew Mom into things even though she had limited capability. Nursing staff was very caring. Glad we found this place!

All the staff is very helpful and friendly. They respond to requests quickly. And I know they're taking good care of my mom. They have daily activities and try to get people involved if they're willing.. and the meals are good.

Mom was happy there despite her dementia. The people were very loving and treated her well and she gained new friends. The food was excellent. They surroundings were beautiful and the apartment spacious. The staff was very caring. Costs were reasonible. Activities dir was great.

My best thumbs up is to say: The staff cares. Not just the management of the facility, but the aids. Since this is most important, it is the significant determining factor. Followed closely behind is all the staff is approachable. There are items which need improvement. Cleaning the apartment has been a chronic ask. I've brought my owner vacuum twice to show the dirt. Biggest item: Clean the bathroom. Their policy is once a week. I'd be ok with twice a week. Lucky to get once a month. Since I'm there everyday for…
