PositiveThe best part of this location is the fantastic FOOD!!! I've been to 4 places this year and this one out does all the others by far in the food area. This place is very nicely decorated, clean, friendly and helpful personal; very nice rooms and large baths. Call lights are answered promptly (except sometimes at night) and (except for a small ant problem) its great here!

Unfortunately, my Mom was not able to stay at the American House very long due to a number of reasons. However, American House was very supportive. They were great about setting up a medical team and other services. Overall the staff was great . The only concern I did have is that cost of assisted living did not include the distribution of medication , that was a separate cost .

My loved one was very content at this community during their stay. I would tell people that it is an older community. The staff were fabulous though. Since we were not able to go inside due to the lock down due to COVID, we were never able to see the inside of the community. My experience has all been during COVID.
