Arcadia of Denton

I would recommend Arcadia. Small and more hands on facility. Very good care. Staff was wonderful and very loving and caring to the residents. Price is good with no added charges.

Our Experience

I think this location is better for individuals who are not a fall risk and who are not still functioning well. I would suggest that they complete rounds more than every 3 hours at night. There were not a lot of activities for my loved one to do, so she was bored most of the time. At this time, I feel that the price (which is good in comparison to other assisted living locations) is still too high for the services that we received.

[name removed] was just wonderful. Every road block we had she gave her input. the facility was brand new and very nice inside, since it was new there were only 5 residents so they got great care. Even the hospice staff that they are associated with were great. The everyday staff were always pleasant and helpful when we came to visit and some went above and beyond and always gave us the information that we needed. We toured Arcadia of Denton and it was a great place. We would have moved her here but we decided against moving her to Maryland so that is the only reason we did not choose it. If she was in MD it would have been our first choice.

Wonderful, Small Community

I would tell people that is awesome to have a small community for my loved one. There are 16 residents here. The staff is quick to get back to me with any questions or concerns I have over my loved one

Small and Intimate Community

This community seems to be the best fit for my mom. She is doing okay here she has settled in. She likes the staff here they are friendly and very nice and helpful when needed. She is interacting with the other residents and doing some of the activities not as much as I would like her to do and that may come in time. She says the food is okay
