A place like home

The care partners who are there daily are so kind caring and compassionate to each individual. They have so many fun activities, field trips and special events. It is very clean and a very beautiful homie facility. Unfortunately, my mom needed more medical care than they are equipped to support. However, they will offer hospice as an alternative. It was appropriate for my mom but not for everyone.

I didn't choose a 5 for cleanliness just because I often see a full trash container in my fathers' room. And some of the CNA's aren't the most pleasant. Overall though, from the concierge at the front desk to the nurses and activities staff, they are friendly and helpful. My mother is usually attending one activity or another, whether it's an outing to see a local ballet performance, or to do a craft downstairs, or watch a live performer. Our family had an in person tour experience with Artis Senior Living and we thought the overall tour experience was great!

So far so good

Just want to mention that my loved one has not been in the facility very long so we're still working on a few things. The food rating is based on what my father told me recently but he's used to having my mother cook for him. This facility is very expensive. $[removed]per person for a small room. My loved one was briefly at an assisted living on a respite basis and it was about $[removed] per month for the apartment. Dedicated memory care staff at Artis Senior Living

It is a good fit for my loved one. It is a dedicated memory care facility. It has 4 communities, each with 16 rooms, their own dining room and screened in porch. So a fairly large facility but a hometown feel. They have a beautiful outdoor courtyard, tables and walk ways. Overall, we are grateful knowing that safety and health are monitored, and that music, art, books, and socialization is provided daily.
