The time had come for my 87-year-old aunt to sell her home and move into an Independent Living setting. She had been living alone for nearly 50 years, but realized that was not a long-term option. PositiveA caring and well-staffed living accommodation.
Choosing a place for my father-in-law to live when he could no longer stay at home was not an easy task. On paper and during telephone interviews, most facilities appear to have what is needed. However, visits often proved just the opposite. The Residences at Melrose Station delivered the product we needed to be comfortable he was in a caring and well maintained environment. Criticaldo not recommend for memory care, bad experience, look elsewhere
I would tell others looking to not go to their memory care floor, they do not know how to handle the patients. It was a very poor fit for my loved one. They really needed to improve on communication with the family, the nursing staff did not read my loved ones profile.

PositiveWelcoming and Caring Environment
We've had to lean quite heavily on their expertise and caring recently. The people there are great - every single one of them are spectacular, from the cleaning crew, to the front desk, to nursing. We couldn't ask for better. Every single person has welcomed our entire family and has their eye out for all of us. It really is a wonderful place. It's very clean. I've eaten multiple meals there. Everything I tried was good, and the service was very good. Our whole experience has been fantastic.

They offer acctivities, but I have not partcipated in any yet. The staff is very welcoming. If your loved one needs independent living, then this would not be a good match for them. It is moreso designed, for those who need assisted living.
